He has been fishing Percy Priest Lake for over 33 years and Normandy Lake for over 17 years.  As a youngster he grew up fishing with his father and grandfather, not only did they teach him the lake, but he made so many happy memories of that time.  A lot of places Mark fishes today are places that his father and grandfather knew well before the lake was made.  There are places with drop offs and creeks that don’t show on the maps today, places they fished and taught him.

Mark does not fish for Bass, Stripers or any other species, just Crappie.  Crappie is his passion.  He fishes almost every day for Crappie.  He knows where and what techniques it took to catch the Crappie yesterday.  This gives him huge advantage.  Mark uses a multi-pole technique that is highly productive, he named it “Power Corking”.  He has won numerous Crappie tournaments on both lakes using this technique for over 10 years and has enjoyed teaching it to crappie enthusiasts to use on their lakes and tournaments. Not only are these techniques very productive, but it makes it so easy for anyone to fish.  Men, women & children all enjoy his style of fishing.
